In December 2012 «KVINT» has launched into operation a state-of-the-art microfiltration plant, which enabled to further improve the quality of our alcoholic beverages.

The microfiltration plant for wine was designed and manufactured by the leading Italian company in this domain – INNOTEC s.r.l. Due to membrane filtration it has become possible to heighten the microbial and bacterial stability of the wine, thus ensuring its problem-free storage and expanding its life-span. One of the perks of this plant is its total automatism: all basic operations including sanitizing of the machine can be performed without human attendance. Apart from fine filtration, this plant can be used for adding inert gas (nitrogen, carbon dioxide) for better protection of wine from possible risk of oxidation.

Another advanced filtration system, recently commissioned at «KVINT», is meant for vodka production. This modern filtration system for alcohol-water solution is composed of a cascade of filters based on the charcoal from a coconut shell, which was impregnated with silver and platinum. In the course of treatment of vodka on this plant, the product is enriched with ions of platinum and silver, which is beneficial for the organoleptic features of vodka, making vodka particularly smooth, giving it a full and balanced taste, refined aroma, crystalline clarity and brilliance.
