On 16-17 February 2013 the 22nd International Wines & Spirits Competition took place in Chişinău (Republic of Moldova). «Chişinău Wines & Spirits Contest - 2013» is a demonstration of achievements in winemaking area and strong alcoholic beverages from Eastern Europe countries and the Black Sea region. This is one of 20 world contests, and it is the only one contest at the territory of the CIS which is held under the patronage of International Organization of Vine and Wine (O.I.V.). The following products were submitted to approval of the tasting panel:

- still wines (white, pink and red);
- sparkling wines (white, pink and red);
- fortified and dessert wines (made of aromatic and non-aromatic grape varieties, aromatized wines);
- strong alcoholic beverages (brandy, divin, vodka, balsam, liqueur etc.).

More than 30 companies from various countries all over the world participated in the contest, namely: Belorussia, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic.

Summarizing the results, there were 25 Gold, 42 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals awarded during the competition.

From February 11 to 15, 2013, the Tiraspol Winery & Distillery «KVINT» participated in the 20th International Exhibition of Foodstuff and Drinks “Prodexpo 2013” which took place in Moscow (Russia). Tasting contests, conferences, forums, round tables and seminars were held as a part of the exhibition. More than 2200 companies from 63 countries all over the world presented their products, projects, advanced technologies and achievements. Various samples of foodstuff and beverages were displayed in the international specialized salons at the Expocentre Fairgrounds.

Alcoholic drinks were presented by various winemaking companies, wineries and distilleries, alcoholic beverages factories from more than 30 countries all over the world, namely: Austria, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Cyprus, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, the USA, the Ukraine, Uruguay, France, Czech Republic, Chile and South Africa.

Divins, wines, vodkas and other strong alcoholic beverages by the Tiraspol Winery & Distillery «KVINT» were displayed in the pavilion of alcoholic drinks, where the visitors of the exhibition noted the fine quality, reasonable price and attractive design of our products.

From February 7 to 9, 2013, the Tiraspol Winery & Distillery «KVINT» took part in the 13th Annual International Specialized Exhibition “Wine & Winemaking” in Odessa (Ukraine). More than 50 companies from different countries participated in the event: wineries and distilleries, alcoholic beverage factories, agribusinesses; manufacturers of vineyards equipment, oak barrels, bottles, professional glassware and wine accessories; analytical equipment and laboratory instruments providers. The fair was attended by representatives of packaging and design companies, distributors, news agencies, winemaking-oriented web resources, specialized advertizing and gourmet magazines.

Within the framework of the exhibition there was held the 13th International professional tasting contest “Odessa Bay 2013”, conducted on February, 5-7. The objectives of this annual contest were to evaluate products quality and their prospects on the market. The panel of the contest jury composed of leading experts from Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, and other neighboring and far-off countries, including professionals in winemaking and liqueur & spirits production, Research institutes and other organizations related to beverage business. All the samples represented by the Tiraspol Winery & Distillery «KVINT» were awarded with the following decorations:
