MASTER-CLASS “NEW WINES VINTAGE 2014”
On the 22nd of January 2015, a master-class dedicated to wines of the new vintage was held at the Tiraspol Winery & Distillery “KVINT”. The guests of our factory, restaurateurs, bartenders, sommeliers and wine connoisseurs were invited to taste 12 samples of wines vintage 2014.
Mr. Pier Giorgio Berta, famous oenologist-sommelier, at the very beginning of his speech said that there were favorable weather conditions for both white and red grape varieties during the year 2014. The tasted wines are still not ready to be bottled, they have to undergo a number of technological procedures. So the guests of that event had the unique possibility to look to the future: they tasted products which are going to appear at the market in several months. The tasted samples included “KVINT” brand new wines made from grape varieties Viognier, Irsai Oliver, Pinot Noir grown on our own vineyards. Besides, our experts were proud to present to the invitees the long-awaited ice-wine. Years of expectation and hope for the mercy of nature were not in vain: this year the assortment of “KVINT” wines will be broadened by a limited edition of ice-wine.
The new wines deeply impressed the invited connoisseurs and received enthusiastic praise. Versatile and exquisite aroma of these amazing, soft or piquant, gentle or intense wines left no one indifferent.
