LEV GOLITSYN INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION 2019
On October 24-26, 2019, the 9th All-Russian summit of winemakers was held in the Republic of Crimea, Yalta. Within its framework, the first annual international wine competition was held. The competition established in honor of the 125th anniversary of the winery Massandra was named after Prince Lev Golitsyn, who had created that factory.
The tasting competition was held according to the rules of the International Organization of Grapes and Wine (OIV). The samples were evaluated by a reputable international jury, which included foreign judges – prominent oenologists, famous wine critics, experts sophisticated in judging prestigious international contests, as well as leading Russian oenologists and wine experts, independent critics, and wine journalists.
By decision of the jury, the wines of the Tiraspol KVINT Winery & Distillery KVINT were awarded with 4 Silver medals and 2 Gold medals.
