ALTO liqueurs at Wine Day 2026
At the anniversary Wine Day in Chișinău we presented something new — ALTO dessert liqueurs made on our 10-year-old divin “Surprise”.
Following a 25-year tradition, on the first weekend of October the Great National Assembly Square in Chișinău hosted a grand and spectacular celebration. This year’s Wine Day on 3–4 October broke several records: the Republic of Moldova entered the Guinness World Records with the largest human-formed installation of a grapevine (493 people); in this anniversary year, 114 wineries gathered on the square; nearly 117,000 tastings were held over the two days — 30% more than last year; and tourists arrived from 70 countries.
For drinks producers, the National Wine Days are a showcase of achievements — a time to present their brightest new releases both to fellow winemakers and to a wide international audience. We successfully brought an entirely new product to market: dessert liqueurs.
Different from the rest
The series is called ALTO, which from Latin can be translated as “other, different from the rest”. What sets these liqueurs apart from similar products by other producers is that ours are made not simply on spirit or young distillate — they are created on our much-loved 10-year-old divin “Surprise”.
There are two liqueurs: one is called “Lemon & Herbs”, the other “Orange & Cinnamon”. They are made with natural ingredients: an infusion of lemon peel, bergamot and rosemary, and lemon oil; and an infusion of orange peel and pulp, Ceylon cinnamon, and orange oil. The finest natural raw materials were sourced from our trusted supplier in Bulgaria, while the infusions themselves were produced at our winery. The result is aromatic liqueurs in which the strength goes unnoticed, with a rich and harmonious taste.
The design
The packaging matches: a bottle of a shape unusual for us, in brown glass, with the labels illustrating the ingredients that went into each drink and gave it its name. The labels were created by a designer from Argentina.
